About our School

Hillside Elementary School is one of five K-4 elementary schools in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District. It is located in historic Chester County and fifteen miles from metropolitan Philadelphia. Our students enjoy the benefits of a community rich in historical and cultural influences. Hillside provides experiences that will develop intellectual excellence and promote a positive understanding of one's self and others. We encourage each child to develop his/her maximum potential and to acquire skills in ways that stimulate curiosity, foster creativity and develop self-discipline.

Individual progress is highlighted and supported in the reading/language arts and mathematics programs, and by the many support services available. Children also have the opportunity to develop their talents in social studies, science, technology, foreign language, the arts and in physical activities.
