Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
The purpose of the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is to enrich the school experience for the students at Valley Forge Elementary School. The fundraisers and service projects provide many extra programs for the students such as Cultural Arts presentations, special science programs, fitness-oriented programs and reading enrichment programs. PTO volunteers coordinate the publication of student stories through the Publishing Center and PTO funds completely support the Publishing Center activities.
Through the generous support of PTO-sponsored fundraisers by VFE families, the PTO has provided unique gifts to the school that support the curriculum and the staff. Some recent purchases include: Smartboards, computers, calculators, video and audio equipment and library materials.
All parents of VFE students are considered members of the Parent-Teacher organization and participation with PTO-sponsored activities and events is encouraged and welcomed! Questions about the PTO and PTO activities can be directed to any of the board members listed below.
